how to get involved??
We have compiled a list of current campaigns and projects that are great ways to get involved!
PLANET OR PLASTIC
NAT GEO SOCIETY: Planet or Plastic? is National Geographic’s multiyear effort to raise awareness about the global plastic trash crisis. Visit their page to learn more, find out what you can do to reduce your own single-use plastics and take your pledge.
SIGN ON TO STOP WILDLIFE CRIME
WWF: Despite increased efforts to tackle the surge in poaching, nearly 110,000 elephants have been killed in the last 10 years—highlighting the need for urgent international action to address the crisis.
African and Asian countries are reeling under a poaching crisis. Ruthless criminal networks are plundering the wild to supply skyrocketing demand for rhino horn, illegal ivory and tiger parts. As a WWF supporter, you know that wildlife crime is the most immediate threat to wild elephants, tigers and rhinos.
BIG CATS INITIATIVE
The National Geographic Society’s Big Cats Initiative supports scientists and conservationists working to save big cats in the wild.
Learn how you can help protect big cats. Get updates from our Explorers in the field who are working to save big cats and other wildlife and wild places, and learn about all our work to explore and protect the planet.
ADOPT AN AFRICAN ELEPHANT
WWF: African elephants are family-oriented animals with a complex social structure. There are two types of herds — females with their young and bachelor herds — and lone males. Females remain with their natal group for life, sharing responsibility for calves, and males leave the herd once they reach maturity. Elephants are a keystone species and dramatically affect their landscape. They are seed dispersers and influence forest composition, creating clearings to boost tree regrowth and reducing cover to create suitable habitat for browsing and grazing animals.
tell congress: endangered species need help
World Conservation Society: More than 27,000 species are threatened with extinction. These animals need all the help they can get, and the Critically Endangered Animals Conservation Act would be a lifeline for them.

the bucket list family zero waste kits
These Zero waste kits that we have worked hard to make seek to reduce the amount of plastic we put into our environments. Thousands of single use plastic like straws, forks, knives and water bottles end up in our ecosystems around the world and they are very harmful to the health and wellbeing of the animals who live in these fragile environments. Our zero waste kits are an additional effort to help reduce the amount of single use plastic we use, and therefore positively impact our precious planet.
A portion of all sales will be donated to the organizations listed above!
